RetroPaw (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how RetroPaw handles device permissions and locally stored data when you use the app.
Important Notice: RetroPaw is designed as a fully offline application. We do not collect personal information, do not upload any data, and do not integrate advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
This Privacy Policy will help you understand the following:
RetroPaw does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, email address, precise location, or device identifiers. We also do not upload any of your data to servers.
When you use the “Import/Add Game” feature and select ROM files or archives through the iOS Files app, those files are copied into RetroPaw’s app sandbox for offline gameplay.
When you manually save a game screenshot to Photos, or when the app generates preview images for save states, those images are stored locally (either in the app sandbox or in Photos, depending on your action).
When you choose a custom cover image for a game from your photo library, the selected image is saved locally in the app sandbox for display purposes.
RetroPaw does not request permissions by default. Permissions are requested only when you actively use related features.

Note: RetroPaw does not scan your Photos library or files in the background. Permissions are used only for the specific action you initiate.
Because RetroPaw does not collect or upload personal information, there is generally no need for additional consent for new uses. If future versions introduce cloud sync, accounts, or online services, we will clearly notify you and obtain your consent in advance.
All RetroPaw data is stored locally on your device (within the iOS sandbox or Photos app) and is never uploaded to any server.
UserDefaults.RetroPaw does not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your data to any third parties.
RetroPaw does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, statistics, or tracking SDKs. As such, no third parties receive your information through the app.
Your data is protected by iOS sandbox security mechanisms. We recommend enabling a device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to enhance device-level security.
RetroPaw does not collect personal information. If you are a minor, please use the app with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will revise the “Last Updated” date accordingly. If any update involves more extensive data processing (such as cloud features or accounts), we will provide clear notice and obtain your consent.
